BETHEL – A probate judge has declared Nancy Lanza’s estate insolvent after the last of her $67,000 was recently paid out for back taxes and upkeep of the property where she was murdered by her son before he killed 26 people inside Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.
Judge Robert Egan recently accepted a final accounting of her estate that shows her last $67,826 was used to pay a variety of bills, including about $13,500 in state and federal taxes owed for 2012, the last year of her life.
