Rebecca Walker, a senior associate with Ledingham Chalmers, has secured a certificate of proficiency in insolvency (CPI).
This qualification is offered by the Insolvency Practitioners Association for those specialising in the insolvency field.
Covering both personal and corporate insolvency, CPI gives students a solid foundation in both the legal framework surrounding insolvency, and the duties and responsibilities of insolvency practitioners. Usually a qualification obtained by those within the accountancy sector, Ms Walker is one of few lawyers to have secured the award.
