A Scottish lawyer and former hedge fund manager linked to a fraud investigation has been declared bankrupt.
Gregory King, from Glasgow and now a resident of Malaga, was accused by regulators of defrauding property investors out of millions of pounds and was said to be behind an alleged £6 million property scam in which investors money was used to buy land at inflated prices.
The financial authorities in Gibraltar believed that the deals were fraudulent. He has consistently denied the claims and insisted he acted in good faith.
