BOSTON – Three men accused of helping run an illegal gambling operation have been charged with kidnapping a man in Quincy last year to try to get him to repay nearly $40,000 in gambling debts.
Vinh Huynh and Kim Nguyen of Dorchester, and Quang Le, of Rockland, were arraigned Friday in U.S. District Court on charges of kidnapping, extortion and running an illegal gambling business. A fourth man, Ban Tran of Dorchester, has also been charged in connection with the gambling ring.
