The family of a teenager who took his own life believe online gambling debts were a factor in his death.
Joey Rojas, 18, was found hanging at home by his younger brother. In a statement to his inquest today, his mother Joselyn said she believed he owned money to someone over gambling and had been being chased for his debts.
Mrs Rojas, whose statement was read to the inquest, said: We believe something wasnt right at college or with money.
We believe he was involved in online gambling and owed money.
There were lots of messages about this but we have no idea who from.
Joey died in Wrexham Maelor hospital several days after being found at home in Maes Y Gwanwyn in Rhostyllan, Wrexham.
