AN AUSTRALIAN artist has revealed how a battle with mental health led to the difficult decision to put his world-leading fashion brand into liquidation.
Few and Far Collective, the brainchild of artist Steen Jones, was founded seven years ago with the aim of giving tattoo artists from around the globe a platform to design products.
Mr Jones put the Brisbane company in liquidation last month, revealing to followers how the stress of running the brand took its toll – claiming personal health and relationships.
“The fashion industry can be turbulent and ruthless, and when coupled with the steep learning curves, responsibilities, stresses and risks of running your own business, these demands really began to take their toll,” he said.
