A liquidator has been appointed to Devondale Limited, a construction company owned by the property developers Brian and Anthony Durkan. A special resolution was filed with the Companies Registration Office on January 2 recommending the winding up of the company as it “cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business”. Insolvency practitioner Kieron Hayes of the accountancy firm Hayes & Co has now been appointed liquidator of the company. This liquidation doesn’t affect other Durkan-controlled companies.
