A pub near Carlisle has confirmed that it has been taken over by a new management company in the midst of a temporary closure caused by Storm Eowyn.
The Fleece at Ruleholme, which is located on the A689 near Brampton, announced on Tuesday, January 28 that it would be closed until Wednesday, April 2 to carry out ‘essential’ repairs to damage caused by Storm Eowyn which hit Cumbria on Friday, January 24.
Following the announcement, the pub outlined to the News & Star the extent of the damage caused by the storm and why the decision had been taken to close for two months.
