Electric air mobility start-up Volocopter has made the majority of its workforce redundant.
The Baden-Württemberg-based company began insolvency proceedings in late December 2024, but the company’s management at the time were confident of finding new investors.

Unfortunately, time and money has run out. German media has reported that 450 staff members have been laid off, with effect from March 3rd. A local court has confirmed that it will start the process whereby creditors can bring claims against the company.
