The rise comes amid ongoing economic uncertainty that continues to affect businesses and households across England and Wales.
Corporate insolvencies climbed by 1.4 per cent to 2,081 cases in July, up from 2,053 in June and broadly in line with last July’s figure of 2,078, according to new data from the Insolvency Service.
