Go To Places, the Local Visitor Economy Partner (LVEP) for Visit Hertfordshire has ended operations, with its board instructing insolvency practitioners at Crowe U.K. LLP to prepare the company for liquidation.
In a statement, Go To Places chair Doug Bannister said the decision was a result of a “complex and challenging set of circumstances” that made continuing to operate “increasingly unsustainable”.
“This is not a decision we have arrived at lightly and the situation has arisen not through any single decision or failure, but as a result of a complex and challenging set of circumstances that reflect the wider economic pressures facing the UK’s public and tourism sectors,” he said.
