Brittany Higgins has revealed she was loaned her $1,049 designer dress which she wore to the Marie Claire Women of the Year awards – as she faces imminent bankruptcy over her defamation case loss to former Liberal senator Linda Reynolds.
Ms Higgins on Thursday evening made headlines in a sizzling red Rebecca Vallance gown – and later posted that she was extremely grateful to the magazine and the designer for ‘affording a Cinderella moment’ to her.
Both Ms Higgins and husband David Sharaz lost a Western Australia defamation case brought by Ms Reynolds over social media posts the pair shared about the fallout from her rape saga.
They are expected to be declared bankrupt in the coming weeks.
