Bradford is outperforming the national trend when it comes to business liquidations.
Despite 26,005 business insolvencies recorded across the UK and Northern Ireland in 2025, Bradford’s liquidation rate stands at just two per cent, according to an analysis by Liquidation Centre.
Out of 1,590 businesses within a 500-metre radius, only 32 in the city entered liquidation.
Richard Hunt, director at Liquidation Centre, said: “The data highlights just how volatile recent years have been and continue to be for high street businesses.
“In 2026, businesses should prioritise disciplined cash flow monitoring, flexible overheads, and realistic growth plans.
