Targa Florio Cars in Chichester to go into liquidation

Targa Florio Cars in Lockgate Road, Chichester, closed suddenly in December with its phone line disconnected and website removed.

Last week, Sussex Police confirmed they had received reports of payment issues over vehicle sales involving the company and that enquiries are ongoing.

“We are aware of a number of reports involving payment issues over vehicle sales relating to a company in Chichester,” a Sussex Police spokesman said.

“Enquiries are ongoing at this stage.”

The BBC has now reported that the company is to be placed into insolvent liquidation.
