The new arrival has joined the firm’s South African offering after running her own legal practice for almost seven years.
Thomson Wilks has recruited Zanele Macalagh as a business rescue and insolvency law director in its office in Sandton, South Africa. The firm announced her arrival earlier in August.
Macalagh focuses her work on business rescue issues, insolvency administration and complex disputes, including commercial litigation before the High Court and in arbitration, specialising in contract enforcement and fraud recovery.
She acts as a qualified director and licensed business rescue practitioner, and applies board level governance expertise to restructurings.
