EuroGiant is set to review its entire store network after entering court-appointed liquidation.
The owners of the discount retail chain, which operates two branches in Letterkenny and one in Donegal Town, were placed into liquidation by the High Court today.
EuroGiant currently operates 77 stores nationwide and employs 644 people across Ireland.
According to court reports, its parent companies, EuroGeneral Retail Ltd and Bushgrove Ltd, recorded combined losses of approximately €6.5m.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the company said the decision followed mounting financial pressures after more than three decades in business.
