Wight Business Services, or WBS, which is based on Daish Way, Newport, has gone insolvent.
The County Press has been told the company owes suppliers and staff money.
A sign has appeared on the doors of the premises, revealing WBS is now under the control of the official receiver.
The sign adds: “Removing any item of stock or equipment from this building without authority is a criminal offence.”
The doors have also been chained shut.
It’s understood bailiffs were called in in mid-December.
The company employed around four members of staff.
WBS has been trading since 1982, selling a ‘broad range of office products designed to meet the needs of today’s changing workplace’.
