A second hand card dealership based in the UK has been “wound up” with the business liquidated just days into February. Glynn Andrews Car Sales Limited, a dealership based in Widnes, Cheshire, has ceased trading in another blow to the car industry at the start of 2026.
The dealership, located on Liverpool Road in Widnes, called for a meeting of its creditors on January 23. The meeting was set to include a “resolution specifying the terms on which the liquidators are to be remunerated”, and to approve the costs of preparing the statement of affairs. However, the business appointed its liquidators on February 6, with a winding up order processed the exact same day.
