EcoJet Airlines planned an Edinburgh to Southampton route.
A British airline, once hailed as “the world’s first electric airline”, has collapsed into liquidation.
First launched in Edinburgh back in 2023 by entrepreneur Dale Vince, provisional liquidators were appointed at EcoJet Airlines after a reported bid to raise £20 million.
Mr Vince, said: “We remain committed to electrifying all forms of transport – aviation is the last frontier and the hardest.
