Overtone Brewing Co, based in Yoker, Glasgow, started making beverages in 2018.
Head brewer Dan Miller and founder Bowei Wang teamed up to create “some of the best” IPAs, pale ales and stouts, building a strong following among craft beer fans.
The brewery became known for its distinctive cans featuring colourful patterned designs and was often stocked in independent stores across Glasgow.
A spokesperson confirmed the company has entered liquidation, with a provisional liquidator appointed in a winding-up by the court.
However, the brand is set to continue under new ownership. “Overtone is undergoing liquidation, but a new owner will continue to operate the brewery and brand in the future.”
