A Scottish family-owned engineering firm has collapsed into liquidation after operating for nearly 100 years. Tullibardine Smiddy Limited has been in the family for four generations, but the owners decided that “the company be wound up voluntarily”, with George Lafferty of Begbies Traynor appointed as liquidator.
Companies House notes the business as performing jobs including the repair of fabricated metal products, the wholesale of agricultural machinery, equipment, and supplies, and other engineering activities.
