Some 160 jobs are at risk as popular Tasmanian food company TasFoods has collapsed. The well-known brand in the Aussie state has brought in administrators from KMPG and called on the government to support the ongoing operations of the business.
The company owns a portfolio of local food brands and runs a meat poultry business which is a major supplier of chicken across Tasmania. But it has recently struggled to find a buyer for its Nichols Poultry business, prompting it to now call in administrators.
