A major Devon catering company has announced its permanent closure. Fresha Ltd, based on the Sowton Industrial Estate, has gone into voluntary liquidation.
The company has been providing meals for more than 20 years, employs about 95 staff and has catering contracts with schools, police, healthcare and other organisations across the Devon.
Its most high-profile job was managing catering for the G7 summit of world leaders in Cornwall in 2021.
The company rose from humble beginnings as a sandwich delivery business. Many of its customers were drawn from the businesses on Sowton.
