A UK company which made custom leathers for TT stars such as Joey Dunlop, John McGuinness, Bruce Anstey has gone into liquidation.
Scott Leathers, based in Barnhard Castle for more than four decades, says rising costs and competition from the Far East means the business is no longer viable.
It made fully bespoke leathers as well as adjusting off-the-peg suits for riders, and was a regular visitor to the Island during race festivals.
