Two pubs were closed after a Scottish city hospitality company collapsed into liquidation.
The Aberdeen company took the step of being wound up voluntarily. The story leads our weekly recap.
The Doric Pub Company Limited operated the Kittybrewster Bar and the Brig O’Dee Bar in the city.
The Herald reported that the company agreed to a resolution “that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is appropriate to wind up the company and accordingly, that the company be wound up voluntarily”, according to papers newly lodged at Companies House.
The operators posted earlier: “It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the Closure of the Brig O’ Dee Bar.”
