All 16 staff at the company, which was set up in 2010 by Ben Adams, were laid off after liquidators were brought in last Friday (10 April).
Adams was previously one half of Nissen Adams – one of the 2005 AJ 40 under 40 cohort – and had also worked at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.
A statement of affairs dated 31 March 2026 shows the Southwark Street-based practice (see street view below) owed more than £1.5 million when it went under, including £230,000 to employees, nearly £390,ooo to its landlord and £850,000 to lenders.
According to the company’s accounts for 2020, the practice once employed 45 staff members, but that number had dropped to 18 by 2025.
