A UK furniture manufacturer is seeking approval to enter liquidation just two years after being rescued in a pre-pack deal. Conker Furniture Limited, based in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, is asking creditors to back a proposal to wind up the company through a Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation.
A formal notice published in The Gazette confirms that a resolution to wind up the company is due to be considered on May 6, 2026, at a virtual meeting of creditors. Creditors are being asked to vote on the nomination of joint liquidators. Michael Paul Roome and Jamie Playford, of Leading Business Services in Norwich, have been nominated to take on the role.
