inMusic has signed a definitive deal to acquire Native Instruments.
According to an an announcement shared today (8th May) by Native Instruments CEO Nick Williams, the acquisition “builds on a strong and established relationship between the two companies”, and is intended to act as a “fresh start” for the company after it entered insolvency earlier this year.
inMusic already owns a portfolio of the world’s leading music gear brands, including Akai Professional, Moog Music, Denon DJ, Numark, Rane, M-Audio and more. The transaction to acquire NI is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. Business will continue as usual for NI Products, services, platforms, and its customer support line.
