A Scottish carpet and flooring company has entered liquidation after 13 years in business. The company was founded in 2013 and employed 10 staff members. The company specialised in carpets, vinyl, furniture, resin flooring and luxury tile products, including Karndean flooring.

The company in question is The Floor Studio, based in Elgin. According to reports, a petition to wind up the business was presented to Elgin Sheriff Court in February. Stuart Robb of Robb Advisory was appointed as liquidator on 29 April, with the company entering liquidation on 5 May.
