A UK transport firm has collapsed into liquidation after almost 20 years in business. Carriage Company (Oxon) Limited, which operates taxis and private-hire vehicles in the Oxfordshire area, was put into compulsory liquidation with immediate effect following a hearing on February 4.
Documents submitted to Companies House this month revealed that the company’s dissolution had been deferred until 2032, however. Such a move usually allows a company’s legal status to remain active so authorities can wind up legal actions and recover assets.
