A Margate business supplying and installing stone worktops and other services such as bathroom tiling has gone bust owing money to 61 businesses, between 8 and 13 employees, 39 customers and lender and HMRC debts.
The Stone Man, run by director Rob Pering, collapsed with a debt of £737,814 and appointed administrators last month.
The largest debt of £44,000 is owed to ALG Finance. HMRC is owed some £313,000, employees – listed as 13- are owed some £60,505 and 39 customers are out of pocket to the tune of £70,000. It appears unlikely that customers will receive money while only a small proportion appears to be allocated for employees.
