A director of an accountancy firm who was previously in charge of a separate liquidated company used to pay employees’ wages has resigned.
Gary White has been removed as a director of Norwich-based Aston Shaw accountants after five years in the role, according to Companies House filings published this month.
Mr White was also the sole director of a company called Hartley White Ltd, which entered liquidation in March owing almost £750,000 to HMRC.

According to its most recent accounts, Hartley White, which was set up in 2013, employed more than 100 people.
