Whiteford Contracting Limited, which traded from Kirkmichael Road in Crosshill, has had its address changed to the liquidator’s location in a public document.
In accounts posted at Companies House in 2024 the firm stated it had six employees.
Company members passed a resolution “that it has been proved to the satisfaction of the members that the company is insolvent and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and, accordingly, that the company be wound up voluntarily”.
It added that Derek Jackson of Grainger Corporate Rescue and Recovery has been appointed liquidator “for the purpose of such winding up”.
The liquidation comes amid better news around insolvencies across the UK.
