Vikram Solar has approached the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) against the National Company Law Tribunal’s (NCLT) decision admitting an insolvency petition filed by Isitva Steels Pvt Ltd over an alleged dues dispute of ₹9.44 crore, even as the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) for the company has formally commenced.
In a stock exchange filing on Monday, the solar module manufacturer said that Sameer Nagpal, the suspended director of the company, has filed an appeal before the NCLAT challenging the Kolkata bench’s order dated June 12, which was made available on June 18. The company said the appellate tribunal has agreed to hear the matter on June 24.
