A cluster of caravan businesses falling into administration represents a market correction, not deep problems within the industry, according to a leading voice in the sector.
The Australian caravan industry has been rocked in recent weeks by a string of high-profile manufacturers falling on hard times.
Victoria’s Sunland RV, along with associated companies X Series RV Pty Ltd and Global RV Corp Pty Ltd, entered voluntary administration on June 25.
The collapse spells an uncertain future for the Sunland, Phoenix, and X-Series brands, which offer premium caravans, camper trailers, and off-road options.
