Iconic retail chain Aussie Disposals is set to live on through nine independently owned stores in Victoria and southern New South Wales, but the former franchisor for the brand is in the process of being liquidated.
The discount outdoor and camping retailer, which was founded in Victoria in 1962, fell into voluntary administration in March this year amid challenging economic conditions and increased competition from local and overseas competitors.
