The Fudge Foundry, based in Neyland, Pembrokeshire, went into liquidation in March 2026, with founder Natalie Mills citing the “ongoing economic situation” as the reason behind the closure.
Ms Mills posted on social media in February: “After nearly 8 wonderful years, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close The Fudge Foundry.”
The company, known for its handcrafted Belgian chocolate fudge, entered Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation on March 23, 2026.
Unlike a solvent wind-down, this type of closure occurs when a company cannot pay all its debts and creditors.
