A liquidator has been appointed to Mex 2 U Limited, of Commercial Street, after a petition was made to Dundee Sheriff Court.
Richard Bathgate, of Johnston Carmichael, was appointed Liquidator.
Official documents recorded that “the nature of business of the company is restaurants”.
A petition was earlier presented to the court by the Advocate General for Scotland on behalf of the Commissioners for His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs seeking that the company be wound down.
It comes after new figures showed the number of insolvencies has stayed at around similar levels as this time last year and last month.
