Pembrokeshire-based Black Tar Brewing Co Ltd has entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation after resolutions were passed by its members on February 27, 2026, following a general meeting at the offices of Stones & Co Insolvency Practitioners Limited in Swansea.
Mr Gareth Stones of Stones & Co has been formally appointed as liquidator.
A creditors’ voluntary liquidation is used when directors and shareholders determine a company can no longer trade and choose to close it down in an orderly manner to settle outstanding debts.
The liquidator’s duties include gathering assets, valuing and selling stock and equipment, and distributing funds to creditors in line with insolvency law.
