Jody and Carly Johnson said the closure of Blue Turtle Group Ltd had been a “nightmare” after spending eight years growing the business from a home start-up into a company employing dozens of people.
Blue Turtle, based at Vaughan Street in Llandudno, operated in the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) markets.
The Government-backed schemes help fund energy efficiency improvements such as loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation and low-carbon heating systems.
The company acted as a managing agent, helping homeowners access funding while supporting installers and overseeing compliance on projects delivered through the schemes.
