The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has reserved its judgment in an insolvency petition filed against SpiceJet by aircraft lessor Aviator ML, with a verdict expected shortly.
The plea was filed under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) by aircraft lessor Aviator ML, alleging a payment default of around ₹60 crore. The dispute pertains to a Boeing 737 aircraft that had been leased to the airline.
The judgment is expected soon, with one of the NCLT members who heard the case due to retire.
