ASX-listed kaolin producer WA Kaolin Limited has entered voluntary administration after pressure on its cash position and the cancellation of a substantial portion of its forward order book, with receivers and managers appointed a day later as competing restructuring and sale processes get underway.
Gregory Prout and Clifford Rocke of WA Insolvency Solutions, a division of Jirsch Sutherland, were appointed voluntary administrators on 12 August 2026 after the company’s directors resolved to make the appointment under section 436A of the Corporations Act 2001.
