NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 18 – Directline Assurance Company Limited is facing a liquidation petition filed at the High Court in Garissa by three creditors, with the matter set for hearing on October 1, 2026.
The petition was filed by Yusra Ahmed Abubakar, Maryam Maamun, a minor suing through her aunt and next friend Yusra Ahmed Abubakar, and Umma Salama Maamun, a minor suing through her mother and next friend Yusra Ahmed Abubakar.
The petition was presented to the High Court on July 27, 2026, according to a notice published on August 14 by the Deputy Registrar, High Court of Kenya at Garissa.
