The Bucharest Court rejected on Tuesday the request by the Bucharest Transport Company (STB) to enter insolvency. The reason is procedural: the company did not submit all the documents required by law.
General Mayor Ciprian Ciucu expressed surprise at the decision and stated that, according to the STB management, the file had been verified multiple times before reaching the court and contained all the necessary documents.
“The Court rejected the insolvency request submitted by STB. The reason? Lack of documents,” Ciucu announced.
The mayor stated that he had spoken with the company’s management, who assured him that the documents had been submitted. “I will verify,” said Ciucu, who hopes that STB will appeal the decision.
