The Bushey branch, in Park Avenue, had operated for more than 20 years without ever being found less than ‘good’ before it was found that ‘urgent improvement’ was needed in every category during an Ofsted report published on June 12.

Both branches are now listed as permanently closed online and staff members say they were told they had been made redundant this week.
Step by Step Bushey had 49 places for pupils aged up to four.
