Just over a month after one of its Canberra centres was temporarily shut following a serious medical incident involving a child, Edge Early Learning has entered voluntary administration.
The childcare provider, which operates multiple centres across the ACT, Queensland and South Australia, appointed KordaMentha as voluntary administrators on Tuesday (26 August).
For families, however, there is no immediate change. Edge says its centres will remain open, with children continuing to attend as usual while administrators urgently assess the company’s financial position and options for its future.
