HMRC has reportedly filed a petition seeking to have former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher declared bankrupt over an alleged unpaid tax bill.
The court listings filed yesterday demonstrated that the case was filed against James Lee Duncan Carragher by a legal professional to HMRC, a prominent department of the UK government responsible for collecting taxes.
