Braid Logistics (UK) Limited, based in Renfrew, was founded in 1955 – but was acquired by a German firm six years ago.
Now, the logistics firm – apparently specialising in the transport of bulk liquids – is set to be placed into liquidation after a merger of group entities, according to The Herald.
The restructuring was revealed in accounts posted on Companies House for the year ending December 2025.

The report stated: “It has been decided by the directors that the company will no longer be required after the year end. The directors plan to merge group entities in 2026 and as a result Braid Logistics (UK) Limited will be made dormant…
