When Weiss Furniture owner Dalia Dunhoff realized she was shopping for things like chairs and mattresses online, she knew it was time to take a look at the business.
“Retail stores are becoming fewer and fewer as more people shop online,” Dunhoff said. “In the future, perhaps that will change again, but right now we have a very large building for the amount of inventory inside.”
After 107 years in business, Weiss Furniture in Latrobe will close its doors this year.
“I’m incredibly thankful for the loyal customers, employees and friends who have sustained Weiss Furniture for more than a century,” Dunhoff said.
