The Milimani High Court has certified as urgent a case challenging the liquidation of the Kenya Union of Savings and Credit Cooperatives (KUSCCO) amid concerns over members’ funds.
According to court documents obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the application was filed under a certificate of urgency and will be heard during the court recess following directions issued on Friday, September 4.
“Upon considering the merits of the said application, it is hereby ordered that the application be certified as urgent and shall be heard during the recess period,” the documents stated.
The court directed that the case be served on the parties, the appointed liquidators and any other individuals who may be affected by the orders being sought.
